Statistically, the best tournament of the year was the May 6th event on Conowingo Reservoir. This single day tournament had the 2nd highest total weight of the year, beating out 3 of the 4 two day events.

The daily per angler average of 4.6 fish for 11.7 lbs. was the highest for both divisions by a wide margin. Of the 30 anglers that participated, 25 of them weighed in a five bass limit. This tournament also had the heaviest single day limit of the year at 19 lbs. 4oz. Even more impressive is the fact that the conditions were not ideal during this event – low, muddy water and very little flow through the dams are usually conditions that make for a tough day, but that was clearly not the case.

Logan Summers took full advantage of these conditions with a 19 lb. 4 oz. haul to win his 2nd tournament of the young season, edging out Sam McDowell by 6 oz., who finished with 18 lbs. 14 oz Greg Snider found a sizeable limit in the rocks to grab 3rd place at 17 lbs. 1 oz. For the co-anglers, Eddie Yee came in 3rd place with 12 lbs. 9 oz. by the slimmest of margins as John Weiskopf came in with 12 lbs. 10 oz. Brian Gray had a great day and came back with 13 lbs. 6 oz. for his first career FOBA win.
