LAKE KERR - VA/NC
Kerr Lake (also known as Bugg’s Island Lake) is a 50,000 acre reservoir, the largest in Virginia. Like Lake Gaston, it borders Virginia and North Carolina. In fact, Kerr Lake is connected to Lake Gaston upstream from the West. It is an impoundment of both the Roanoake and Dan Rivers. Kerr is well-known for its campgrounds and largemouth bass fishing.
