Snow
To continue on what I said at the meeting....NWS hasn't made local snow depth predictions yet (expect it by tomorrowish), but the forecasters have compared this system to the storm we had in December.
Most of the area can expect 12" or more, and local amounts up to 20". Supposed to start around lunchtime on Friday.
Again this is all subject to change, predicting snow depth amounts is one the harder things to do for forecasters. Thankfully I'm not a professional forecaster (yet) so I can still blame it on them like everyone else when they get it wrong

That is a sweet looking Jeep Preston! Have fun, just don't roll it or wreck it and mess up that paint job.

RE: Snow
My old Jimmy 4x4 is ready to go for the snow...but it is much much uglier than the Jeep. But, it is unstoppable in the snow/mud/sand etc
I hope all the boaters who store their rigs outside (like me) have prepared! I double wrapped mine with a big tarp in hopes of keeping the ice off the cover.

RE: Snow
my neighbor didnt keep the snow off his covered boat last snow. he paid the price when the weight of the snow caused it to rip at the seams. now he has a new cover, hopefully he learned his lesson.
the snow is a very wet and icy snow. those directional tires sure make a difference. if it gets deep enough, i may even get to put it in 4 wheel drive.
heres the boat, snuggled back in its cubby at the back of the garage.

RE: Snow
I just got back from being out...once again the Jimmy dominated the snow, tried to get over to Our parents house because they dont have power, but downed trees blocked our path, so we came home.
